Interpretive signs provide information to visitors of the meadow.
Throughout the meadow the APC has placed beautiful information signs created by APC Board member Anne Schmalz. In March 2007, Anne’s illustrations were exhibited at Boston City Hall.
Signs included are Welcome to Bussey Brook Meadow, Signs of Winter Wildlife, Dragonflies, Embankment Planting Project, The Grey Squirrel, How Do Birds Fly, Migration, Wild Turkey, Winter Birds, The Mosquito, and Rainbows.
The Education Committee of the APC has added informational signs to the Blackwell Footpath. These signs are changed seasonally and identify the flora and fauna of the meadow as well as other interesting features.
