The APC sponsored a Bird Walk in Bussey Brook Meadow
A Beautiful Morning About a dozen birders joined Bob Mayer on a BBC, Arboretum Park
Conservancy sponsored walk in Bussey Brook Meadow/Marsh on this sunny but
breezy morning. Highlights were great views of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks and
a Northern Parula who dropped down near us for all to see. We also had side
by side looks at Carolina and House Wrens
A Mini-Drama As we watched, a Red-Tailed Hawk parked right above a Canada Goose family with three
goslings, to the extreme consternation of the parents. Grackles, jays
and red-wings came to the rescue, chasing off the Red Tail empty talonned.
